Lightmoor Village celebrates Christmas in style

Lightmoor Village was alive with Christmas spirit on Friday as residents turned up to celebrate the beginning of the festive period.

Residents counted down the Christmas lights-switch on, which was announced by councillors Raj Mehta and Ian Preece and carried out by special guests Stitch and Minnie Mouse, who then joined our younger residents in playing in the snow!

There was plenty of time to do some Christmas shopping, where stalls were in the village square, the school hall and inside Bournville House.

Father Christmas and his Elf were kept very busy as were the face painter and balloon modeller. During the festivities residents were able to enjoy a selection of delicious food thanks to our stall holders, The Deli and Bournville Bistro.
