Friday night football in Lightmoor Village

Following a visit by Cllr Ian Preece and Cllr Raj Mehta yesterday, they announced the start of Friday night football to the MUGA for the Village’s young people.

Cllr Ian Preece, who also works for AFC Telford United, has agreed to provide free training every week, which Cllr Mehta is funding. This will be reviewed in October. As well as the football, which will start on Friday 10th March 7pm-8pm, young people will also be able to do referee qualifications if they wish.
