The Hub at Bournville opens

Great news – Bournville House’s new café – The Hub at Bournville has opened, and an official opening is taking place on Friday 24 February between 2pm-3pm and all residents are invited to enjoy a free afternoon tea.

BVT Lightmoor Village are delighted to be working in partnership with Sutton Hill Community Trust, who run Hub on the Hill in Sutton Hill. With vast experience of running a community café, they will be providing breakfast and lunch and will shortly be introducing a weekly roast. The café is currently open Monday to Friday 9.30am-1.45pm.

Residents in Bournville House have been enjoying the café for the past few weeks while the team get used to their surroundings and now it’s fully open to the community to enjoy.

Sutton Hill Community Trust was formed in 2017 after a group of local residents came together to find a way to keep their community centre open, as it faced closure.

Now a thriving centre with weekly activities, community café and health and wellbeing classes for residents. Further information is available from https://www.hubonthehilltelford.org/
