Update on potholes in Lightmoor Way

BVT is aware of the deterioration of the road and potholes in Lightmoor Way and currently is obtaining quotes to rectify the issues.

For those residents who have been in Lightmoor Village since the beginning, they will know when Homes England and BVT started the Joint Venture, Lightmoor Village was just green fields. Therefore, to allow any development to begin the Joint Venture had to install the infrastructure including roads to allow access for developers to build upon, who would then be responsible for that area until it was officially handed over. The map below indicates areas of responsibility.

One of the infrastructure roads is Lightmoor Way South adjacent to the Croppings. We’d advise residents we are aware of the current issues of the road with the deterioration and potholes, and we are currently in the process of obtaining quotes to repair the road. We are expecting these in the next two weeks and once received we will be able to instruct the necessary work to be carried out.
