Update regarding Myford Meadow tree

You may have noticed the tree on Myford Meadow has had tape placed around it, this is temporary as we are waiting for fencing to be installed.

Sadly the tree has died but has birds nesting that we need to keep safe, the fencing will remain until the end of the nesting season. Removing trees is always a last resort for us and we only do this when they’re beyond saving, sadly this is the case for this tree due to decay and it being in a public area. Necessary checks will be carried out to ensure no wildlife remains.
