A Lasting Tribute: Honouring Harold Gettings in our beloved Holywell Meadow

Our beautiful parks and green open spaces give many residents a favourite spot to relax and watch the world go by. When the family of Harold Gettings, who sadly passed away in 2024, reached out to ask about installing a memorial bench, we were honoured to help make it happen.
Harold’s favourite place was Holywell Meadow, beside the orchard, so it felt fitting to create a space there in his memory. The project was organised by our estate officer, Jude, and carefully installed by our estate caretakers.
Jude was delighted to accompany Harold’s widow to see the finished bench, offering her a peaceful place to sit, reflect, and remember the happy times they shared.
