Stewardship charge & annual accounts
Every household in Lightmoor Village contributes to the stewardship charge, whether you own your home or rent it. This charge helps fund the services that keep the village looking its best and support the community. You can find out more about what the stewardship charge pays for here.
The stewardship budget is reviewed and approved by the resident-led Lightmoor Village Estate Management Committee, ensuring residents have a direct say in how the charge is spent.
Below you can view the published accounts for 2025, along with previous years. The accounts provide a transparent overview of income and expenditure and show how the stewardship charge is used to maintain and enhance Lightmoor Village.
The 2025 accounts also highlight that the stewardship charge alone does not cover the full cost of delivering services. During 2025, Bournville Village Trust (BVT) contributed almost £140,000 to help fund the management and maintenance of Lightmoor Village.
