Furnace Avenue resurfacing work

We’ve received an update from developer Morro regarding the remedial work to be carried out on Furnace Avenue between Bournville House and the school. The work is scheduled for the 18th-26th August, and the image below shows the programme of works.

While this work is taking place there will be limited or no access to parking at Bournville House and The Croppings development entrance on the 18th, 25th & 26th August. As the 25th August is a bank holiday we’re not sure if the contractor will work, which is why the programme runs to the 26th to take this into account. The work is being carried out by the original contractors MAC and supervised and managed by Morro. Residents of Bournville House will receive a letter drop regarding this work and representatives from Morro have met with the staff at Bournville House.

Once this work is completed, we’ll then advise a date when work will be carried out for the double yellow lines once the resurfacing has been completed. The plan is for this to be completed before school returns.
