Update from Keepmoat - The Paddocks

Posted on: 09 May 23

Following a recent meeting with Keepmoat, they have asked us to share the following:

Dear Residents, following previous communications in relation to site completion works, we are writing to update you on the works remaining. Since the previous delays incurred, we have engaged with our sub-contractors to ensure all outstanding works are completed as soon as possible. Details below:

• S104 – drainage remedial works completed – final survey information to be collated for Severn Trent Water and they will sign off the work once they receive all the information required. It then moves to a 12 month maintenance period, if after this time no remedial work is required, then the sewers will be formally adopted.

• S38 – road remedials to raise ironworks and regulate roads in preparation for finishing works, scheduled to begin at the start of June for a period of four weeks. Further details will be provided once an exact date is confirmed. Other remedial works which includes replacing block paving as advised during on-site inspections with Highways will follow this, whilst on-going discussions progress with Highways and our suppliers. The final surfacing is subject to the final legal Section 38 Agreement and progress of adoption around Wellington Road area which is currently under review with our partners on the scheme.

• Open Space – A further site meeting to progress handover of the open space and compound area has been set up with Keepmoat Homes and Bournville Village Trust. This relates to the compound area, currently located in the public open space at the front entrance to the site on New Meadow Road, which is used by Keepmoat to store materials and to provide welfare facilities for sub-contractors.
